Donald Vestal DVM
Veterinarian: Dr. Vestal attended Texas A&M University earning his BS in Veterinary Science in 1973 and graduating Cum Laude with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. He immediately came to work at Dodd Animal Hospital (in the neighborhood where he and his wife grew up) and over the next 40 years enlarged, expanded, modernized and updated with the latest veterinary technology, building this hospital into a state-of-the art medical facility. Married to his high school sweetheart, Liz, they have three children, Sarah married to Aaron, Joshua married to Valerie and Michael, a student and 4 beautiful grandchildren. The Vestals also have 2 Labrador Retreivers and 4 cats.
Jonathan Dyes DVM
Veterinarian: Dr. Dyes was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and grew up in Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University and then transferred to Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dyes has been a veterinarian since 1993. He has 2 sons and a parakeet named Schoene. Dr. Dyes is an avid fisherman.
Tim Kretzschmar DVM
Veterinarian: Dr. Tim is a 2012 graduate of Free University Berlin, Germany. Following vet school he took the opportunity to pursue a doctoral research degree at the Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine. It was in College Station where he met his wife Monica. In 2015 they moved to Denver, CO where Dr. Tim worked at a 24 hour small animal emergency practice. His professional interests encompass everything related to companion animal medicine in general and surgery in particular. As a fan of the outdoors, Dr. Tim is convinced that time off is best spent fishing, hunting, working on a car or riding motorcycles. He's also been known to enjoy a good wine or bourbon on occasion. Dr. Tim and his wife share their home with Kitkit the cat and Willie the dog, as well as two chickens named Jokel and Ono.
Surgical Technician: Donna has been in the veterinary field for 34 years and has been with Dodd Animal Hospital since 1977. Her pets include four dogs, a Yorkie mix, Doberman, Mastiff, Siberian Husky and a corn snake. She has been married for 28 years and has two children. Her son is serving in the military and has given her a beautiful granddaughter. Her daughter is a CPA.
Technician: Floyd came to work for Dodd bringing year of technician experience. He and his wife are the proud parents of three terrific children. Most of his "off time" is spent keeping them occupied.
Technician: Kim moved to Texas in March of 2017 from Seattle and started working at Dodd Animal Hospital. Kim has been a vet tech for 15 years and is working on her Bachelors degree in Zoology. She has 3 teenage daughters, 2 dogs, a cat, and a guinea pig. Kim likes hiking, fishing, camping and being by the ocean on her spare time.
Receptionist: Lydia has been in the veterinary field for 14 years and has been working for Dodd Animal Hospital since August 2003. Her pets include 3 dogs , Hot Dog, Pickles, and Peanut. She also has a cockatiel named Tweetie. Lydia has two grown children and 6 grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, dancing and spending time with her family.
Receptionist: Janelle is from San Antonio, Texas and has been working for Dodd Animal Hospital as a Receptionist since September 2015. She has four cats and two huskies. She enjoys spending time with her family and her animals.
Receptionist: Kerbi has been in the veterinary field for 3 years and started working for Dodd Animal Hospital in January 2018. She is a mother of three handsome boys, Lakyn (9), Tragen (6), and Laith (5). Kerbi also has her hands full with 4 dogs, Max, Roux, Bronx, and Chigger. She also has 3 bearded dragons, Lava, Everest, and General. In her free spare time she enjoys spending time with her boys and relaxing at home.
Accounts Receivable: Mary Ann has had several long-term jobs, including 32 years at USAA.

Groomer: Becky has been grooming since 1990 and has been with Dodd Animal Hospital since 2005. She has a Pitbull named Cooper and a cat named Zoe. She has one son, a high school student and competitive swimmer. Becky enjoys reading, going to the movies and swimming.
